This project began as a straightforward installation of new tread planks but quickly revealed significant termite damage. What started small turned into a full-scale renovation, requiring new home foundation footings and a complete demolition of the front porch. After resetting the front foundation, we installed three additional footings to support the new deck structure. The fresh-cut, treated wood and weather-sealed paint will ensure that this porch remains strong and safe for generations to come.
